POLGEN MONKEYPOX(MPOX) VIRUS DETECTION/TEST KIT

This kit was developed for the detection of Monkey POX (MPOX) (monkeypox virus) in DNA samples obtained from human samples.

• The reaction time is approximately 1 hour, and may vary slightly depending on the qPCR device used.

• The primers and probes in the kit specifically recognize the MPOX virus. These primers and probes were developed specifically for the genetic structure of the virus and for its diagnosis.

The primers and probes in the kit are for the purpose of controlling the quality of DNA samples prepared from the samples.

The template DNA in the kit is a synthetic DNA prepared for positive control purposes. It has not been isolated from the virus, does not contain the entire virus genome and does not have any infectious properties.

STORAGE CONDITIONS
• Products should be stored at -20°C.

• It is recommended that products are not frozen-thawed more than twice. In cases where more freeze-thaws are required, the solutions should be aliquoted and stored at -20°C.

The primer/probe mixtures are light sensitive and are sent in brown vials. Aliquoted reaction mixes must also be protected from light.
