Preimplantation genetic screening test

Preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) is the practice of determining the presence of aneuploidy (either too many or too few chromosomes) in a developing embryo.  In PGS,  embriyos of 5/6/7 th days, one or two cells are removed from the part of the embryo called the trophyctoderm (part of the child’s placenta). The DNA of the cells is isolated and the library is prepared for the NGS study. After the sequencing, the obtained data are processed as bioinformatics and healthy embryos are identified.

POLGEN offers this screening test as NGS based. Especially in the resolution of “mosaic” situation, high-resolution sequencing and detailed analysis with original software are presented.
